What is a Handfasting?

Traditionally, a Handfasting ceremony dates back to ancient times when couples would marry for a year and a day.

Does a Handfasting have legal Status?

Currently in the England and Wales of the UK a handfasting has no legal status on its own. You can however, have a civil partnership or civil ceremony and then straight after (or before) conduct your handfasting ceremony.

What happens during a Handfasting?

A handfasting ceremony is usually conducted outdoors, in the heart of the natural kingdom and the gods and goddesses.
